The USAF and USMC are fully committed to the F-35. Neither has brought new F-16s or AV-8Bs The block 60 F-16 costs as much as the F-35 and lacks the ability to carry weapons internal the Harrier is no longer in production. Further more, the USN designed its ships around the F-35s. There is no alternative that he can present. The USAF/USN are still years from the prototype stage for the 6th gen as the bulk of that tech is still under development. So what can he really do ? Trump again is just blowing hot air
