Its a victory The Type-45 has long be scrutinized but its use the Sea Viper as well as Aster has validated its capabilities in real world combat against drones and missiles However its still being scrutinized US destroyers are switching between anti-air warfare, ballistic missile defense and land attack simultaneously The Type-45 has better sensors that current SPY-1 and they are helping the US with cueing on targets but at end of the day the US ships are still doing a lot more

Thats why the US and UK are attacking land targets and dealing with the problem at the source The UKs only problem is that Type-45 land attack capabilities are inferior to their US counterparts Burke class as well Tico cruisers can launch TLAMs against land targets over 1000 miles away while Type-45 cant do anything
