Ukraine is doing a lot of times but losing is not one of them Russia has stayed in Ukraine to point where Western countries are starting to provide long-range missiles like Harpoon More recently Spain is sending their Aspide for air defense and Just announced the US is providing Ukraine with NASAMS for air defense The additional of western air defense equipment is going to completely shut down the Russian air force and Russian missile attacks Russia has been bypass Ukraine air defense because 100 percent of it is Russian made so they know how to counter it Additional of Aspide and NASAMS are systems they can't easily counter. More the point, their designed to function as integrated air defence system (IADS) so even if one part is destroyed, the rest will still function So Russia's good time is about to come very abrupt end
