Supply of tanks and other weapons to Ukraine is not aggravating the situation. Russia sending troops into Ukraine is what is aggravating the situation. Until Russia is stopped the situation will continue to escalate due to this Russian aggravation.

But Tom, if Russia can't take out Ukraine's existing Soviet tanks, what makes you think they can take out these western tanks. Your argument makes no sense. Are you just another Russian troll?

@prasadraj6334 As you have an Indian name, you will know that India has been having major problems with the poor quality of military equipment bought from Russia. Russia was a superpower, now it is a nearly spent force. This war Russia started will be the final blow to Russian power and prestige.

@truth959 That was not a false statement. Ukraine has tanks - old soviet models mostly. Russia has destroyed many but not all by a long shot. So if they can't destroy all the existing ones, what on earth makes you think they're going to destroy all the western ones. Use your brain man (of course if you're a Russian troll you may not have one - in which case I apologise).

@michael5520 What a stupid statement Michael. Russia has several thousand tanks (excluding the 3500 odd that Ukraine has blown up or captured). So Ukraine needs a lot more to compete. Unless you have several thousand you can give Ukraine, they need several hundred western tanks (because western tanks are so much better than what the Russians have got).

@prasadraj6334 You silly person. Firstly, America isn't fighting in this war. Secoundly, USSR was beaten by Afghanistani goat herders, and USSR was a much more powerful military than Russia (because it had Ukraine as part of USSR). Russian army is a defeated force that can no longer gain any ground in Ukraine (even a bunch of Wagner PMC prisoners are better fighters than the Russian army). The Russian navy is hiding behind Crimea. The navy is an embarrassment with its Black Sea flagship sunk, and its aircraft carrier a complete failure. And the Russian airforce is nowhere to be seen. That's how I know that Russia cannot beat Ukraine. Russia is a joke. And you are a Russian troll.
