I agree that the world should not allow Russia to invade Sweden, just like I believe the world should not allow Russia to invsde Ukraine. But to justify war "because positionally it would be terrible for NATO" is using the same justification as Russia is using to invade Ukraine. "Positionally" Russia will be worse off if Ukraine joins NATO. That is not a valid justification, and you are playing into the hands of every Russian troll by saying that. If Sweden were to vote to become part of Russia, in a free and fair vote (a foreign concept to Russia), then the west would have to accept that, no matter how NATO was affected "positionally". Just as we currently accept Kaliningrad.

@armageddon9920 Yes we really think that Russia is beaten and will soon be defeated. Why has Russia pulled in troops from the Finnish border and from the Pacific region? Why doesn't Russia send troops to Armenia when requested? Why has Russia withdrawn troops and munitions from Syria? Why does Russia need to engage the services of private military companies? Why, because Russia is desperate. Russia's military is beaten. We're all looking forward to the liberation of Crimea.

@JDDC-tq7qm I don't think India is very pleased with the crap weapons Russia sold it. But they are happy to buy Russian oil at 'below cost' prices. Don't count on India to be supportive, nor to be in any alliance containing China.
