@ozymandiasultor9480 But you believe Russian propaganda. Your country is part of NATO., so how is your country a threat to Russia? Your arguements say that you are anti-American, and that seems to be the only reason you are against Ukraine. That is poor reasoning. And if you believe European countries are vassal states of America then that is proof that you have been sucked in by Russia propaganda, because it is not so. America is not a good country, but Russia is worse. Ukraine and Georgia do not want to join NATO to annoy Russia, to threaten Russia. They want to join NATO because they are threatened by Russia and do not have the military power to resist Russian attacks (as is proved by the military interference in Georgia in 2008,.and Ukraine in 2014 & 2022). Surely you don't believe that Russia invaded Ukraine to prptect Russian speakers and ethnic Russsians? 3400 civilians were killed in Donbas from 2014 to 2021. Tens of thousands of Russian speakers and ethnic Russians were killed in Mariupol alone in 2022 by Russian shelling and bombing. Russia attacked Ukraine because Pootin wants Ukraine as part of his "greater Russia". Trouble is, he has written that he also wants Georgia, Moldova, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and much more of Europe, so that history will look back on him as a czar. Russia must be defeated in Ukraine, and if that means giving Ukraine European, or American, or Turkish weapons, then do so. Stop being selfish. Stop sacrificing your neighbours becaude of your anti-US feelings. Stop listening to Russian propaganda.

@zozmirjanuc4658 So it was okay for Serbia to use it's military superiority to kill muslims and Croats, but not okay for US/west to use its military superiority to try to stop Serbia killing muslims and Croats. You seem to have forgotten what happened when Srebrenica surrendered. Who killed 5000 unarmed men and boys? Was that NATO, America, the west?

@ozymandiasultor9480 But the west was not pushing Russia. The west was not trying to surround Russia with a threatening NATO. Countries who felt threatened by Russia were begging to join NATO because they felt threatened by Russia - supposedly the second most powerful military in the world. How are individual nations supposed to stand up to that power, to that threat? By joining a military alliance so that the combined power of those countries can counter the perceived threat. As it turns out the threat was not just perceived, but very real. The secound issue you raised is the issue of Russia protecting ethnic Russians living in Ukraine. If Turkish people living in say Madagascar, were being poorly treated, Turkey wouldn't just send in troops and bomb the shite out of the place. There are diplomatic routes to be traversed first - including the United Nations. And Russia didn't go into Donbas to protect Russian speakers and ethnic Russians. That's just a BS justification. Russia killed tens of thousands of Russian speakers and ethnic Russians in Mariupol alone, through bombing and shelling that levelled the city. How is that protecting them?

It seems to me that the words of the Chinese spokesman ring true - the US seems to be involved in most wars/disputes. However I suppose the same can be said for Russia. China is also correct to say that the US can't point the finger as it is supplying arms to one side of the war. But the head of NATO, Stoltenberg, is correct in pointing out that if China provided weapons to Russia, it would be arming the aggressor. It appears that China is selling drones to Russia - but in balance, China is also selling drones to Ukraine.

@hansdampf640 "Should really start talks" about what? About how much they are going to allow Russia to screw them over? When you find someone raping your wife, will you start talks to see how long he may continue? Russia needs to leave Ukraine now, only then Ukraine needs to talk.
