@AbuBawa-sw1ut "30+ NATO countries still can't beat Russia militarily..." I think you must live in cloud cuckoo land. The 30+ NATO countries aren't fighting in Ukraine and the weapons they're sending to Ukraine are often obsolete and mostly in small quantities. Yet still Ukraine can hold off what was once the second most powerful military in the world. Russia has had to resort to a PMC to make any gains in the last 9 months because the Russian army is useless and keeps getting defeated on the battlefield..

@wolfswinkel8906 You were doing fine until you came to the illegal annexation of Crimea. The annexations was illegal for several reasons. I'll outline two: 1) Russian law does not permit referenda on annexations. 2) for a referendum to be bonding there must be a free and fair vote ('free' & 'fair' being two things Russia, under Putin, has no concept of).

Matt York, I think you are wrong. I think Putin is the only one who can stop this war immediately. He can withdraw his troops back into Russia (Ukraine will not be able to fight into Russian territory because the west will withdraw support). But as you say, Russia can't just stop fighting and stay where they are, because Ukraine will keep fighting until Russia is gone from Ukrainian land.

@nishant1951 Russia declaring "full fledged war" won't make any difference. The Russian military is already exhausted. They have nothing left except nukes, and new recruits with ancient weapons (T-62s etc). And both China and India have warned them against using the nukes.

@Khalid_Looby If you believe that Russia still has 80% of its army still ready to fight, you are deluding yourself. Russia is struggling. The Russian military is so run into the ground they have to hire a PMC to take any Ukrainian land. The only thing that Russia has superiority with is nuclear weapons (which is why they threaten nuclear war on a weekly basis), but both China and India have warned Russia against using nukes.

@JasonLee-gy5ch Yeah T-55s can be used as mobile artillery. So it's sad (for the Russian tank crews) that they're also being used on the frontlines.

@AbuBawa-sw1ut Thank-you. Yes I can believe facts if I want. What do you mean, no other country could do any better in Ukraine? Russia went in expecting to take Kyiv in 3 days and the rest of Ukraine within two weeks. So Russia thought they could do better. But it appears they fucked up. The Russian military, formerly the second most powerful military in the world, is now just a joke. You need to do some fact checking before spouting Russian propaganda.

@rareearthelement8698 Your comments seem spurious ignorance. Do you really believe that Russia's attack on Ukraine was to protect ethnic Russians? Surely it's obvious to you by now that, that was a false pretext. Russia's attack on Ukraine was to control or annex a sovereign nation, as part of Putin's dream of a greater Russia. Putin has published papers on the subject, which includes controll most of Europe as well. If Putin was interested in preventing the deaths of ethic Russians (3400 Donbas civilians died 2014-2021), why would he have his troops shell and bomb populated cities? Tens of thousands of Russian speakers and ethnic Russians were killed in Mariupol alone. Hundreds of thousands of Russian troops have been injured, maimed, or killed. Similar figures apply to Ukrainian troops. How is that protecting ethnic Russians? Please don't write things that make you look like a fool.
