I don't know why they talk about "the illegal annexation of four oblasts" when it was only the illegal annexation of parts of the four oblasts. Luhansk is the only oblast Russia had 100% control over - until Ukraine took back Bilohorivka. Russia barely controls 50% of Donetsk. Slava Ukraini.

Ukraine also took Isyium and Lyman, back. Ukraine also took over 8000 square kilometres of land off Russian troops last week and another 1000 square kilometres so far this week. Not counting whats happening in Kherson. Great isn't it !!!!

No, because it's not really Russian territory and everyone knows that. Even Serbia doesn't recognize the pretend annexations.

I don't think so. No humans were injured in the attack. The pipelines weren't even in use.

@hsushssbwj Yes I hear that Russia downplays all their losses. Isyium, a major command centre for Russian troops, suddenly became a small unimportant town after Russia lost it. Similarly Lyman, a major transport hub for the Russians, was similarly unimportant once it was lost. No doubt when Ukraine overruns Moscow (and Putin has to move to St Petersburg) Russia will say that Moscow was just a small unimportant town.

4 million people didn't vote. Those that did vote, didn't vote freely (it's not free when a man with a gun is watching which box you mark - even if he doesn't actually threaten you). Unmarked votes were counted as "yes" votes. No votes were counted from the population in non-Russian controlled areas. There weren't international observers (unless you count Russians with guns). And if they voted for autonomy they didn't get it because within a few days they were taken over by Russian authorities. That's not autonomy. It wasn't a valid referendum and it makes absolutely no difference to the course of the war because no one recognizes the results - not even Serbia !!!!

@bezbthatdude4558 I'd side with anyone fighting a belligerent aggressor - and sort out any issues later.

@yohanessugiarto8620 That seems an odd suggestion. What makes you think Poland would occupy Belarus for something Russia did? I think Russia is now so short of military resources that Poland could risk attacking Russia directly if Article 5 is breached.

Peace can return. It's easy. Russia can pull out of Ukraine and go home. Peace accomplished. Simples.

@dannyjanssens8985 You obviously prefer Russian hypocrisy.

"How many fools" Well there's you for a start. Fancy believing all that Russian propaganda.

@WDLC1911 I like how, whenever Russia gets its ar$e kicked, you say "Lyman wasn't important" or "they were just two small villages" You sure are blinded by your Russia worshipping.

The winter doesn't worry me. I'm waiting for Russia's economic winter to hit hard.

If Russia is in the business of destroying the Ukrainian army they're not doing a very good job. The Ukrainian army is stronger and better equipped than it was in February. The Ukrainian army is equal to and better equipped than the Russian army (Ukrainians don't have to buy their own first aid kits and protective vests). Now if Russia was in the business of destroying the Russian army I'd say mission nearly accomplished.
