Thank you for posting this. I swear, Matt's awful foreign policy takes make some of the videos on foreign policy unbearable. There is a small distance between being reflexively anti-American and being a tankie, and he's pushing that line hard.

@spanqueluv9er Nobody's saying they didn't. The point was specifically in reference to Matt's horrible take that England bombed Germany first, almost as if to justify the blitz.

I mean, it was bad enough last year complaining about "not asking for peace [in our time] in Ukraine," as though Russia wouldn't invade again in a few years, and whatever part of him there is that has a little tankie surely didn't love that Sam has now come around to the idea that NATO has not outlived his usefulness, but on FP videos, I don't watch if it's explicitly titled in a way that makes it clear that's what it is and it's released on a Thursday, because there are just so many awful takes. I just wish he'd stick to his wheelhouse of economics and labor.
