So true that you need both mobilization and persuasion. There is clearly a limit to how much mileage you can get out of complaining about the establishment.

@newsoul8626 The context really doesn't help that much. The Cornel West version of "slay the fascist dragon first" would have served her far better.

This is why I get so mad when people insist that the primary was stolen from Bernie. If you buy into these conspiracy theories, you don't have to get better.

@peterstafford4426 And it seems like a lot of the anti-anti-Trump crowd uses "this person is anti-establishment" to justify getting into bed with a lot of awful people.

@mjchakos1 They are, but they are the ones who pretend to be lefties. They'll say they hate Trump, but they really hate his opponents.

@newsoul8626 I saw someone who was a liberal Republican mayor who switched parties get hammered by primary voters for the fact that he used to be a Republican, even though he was the biggest lefty in the primary race. Like it or not, party loyalty matters to a lot of primary voters. Sure, the lefty commentators loved that analogy, but a lot of primary voters didn't.

@mjchakos1 Richie Robb. He was elected mayor of South Charleston, WV, for eight terms. In his last term, he switched parties and ran for Congress as a Democrat.
