@stephlynn1982 20 years ago, when I was a freshman in college (man, I feel old saying that), I developed stomach troubles. Because insurance didn't want to pay for the more costly test, I had to go through four or five inconclusive tests... until they finally used the endoscope. How much money would they have saved by just giving me the endoscope in the first place? Yet another example of how inefficient private insurance can be.

@kaiza6467 I think he was emphasizing that Bernie didn't in addition to not inheriting it.
