Some thoughts: 1) I am a fifth generation veteran, and I don't think that makes my service more valid than someone who wasn't (and none of us got higher than Sergeant, so it's not like we got a leg up), 2) Her dad was next to last in his graduating class. He was still able to get an aviation position. Does anyone honestly believe that he got his slot or his wings based on his ability?
