All of those who keep fighting to maintain private insurance are to the right of the British Tories. Let that sink in for a minute.

@robertjenkins6132 Bernie's tax proposal for Medicare for All is a flat 7% employer payroll tax, and 4% employee payroll tax that exempts the first $29,000 of income. Workplace Democracy will actually require employers to pass on the savings from Medicare for All to the worker. Because very few workers actually see the employer contribution to health insurance on their payroll, they may not realize how much that really is. For me, it works out to $359 every other week. And the employee contribution will drop from 4.41% to 1.54%. The rich will pay more because it is based on income rather than fees, which is preferable because it is all about the ability to pay.
