@atharvoleur8358 Too many people in the left focus on the bad things that our leaders have done, instead of learning from the great things that they did. I remember a few months ago saying to someone at a union meeting, "we have clearly seen that the New Deal-Great Society era works the best for the most people, so why can't we learn from that?" Of course, someone had to point out the 30% that it didn't work for, which led me to point out that the exclusion of the smaller percentage wasn't the essential element of that period, and we can build on that knowledge, while making things work for more people. No wonder it's so hard to win even though majorities agree with us.

@AZOffRoadster I totally agree. Our problem is that too many focus on the negative in our heroes instead of looking at what worked well, and build on that.

@OfficialSeth Heck, yeah! I, too, was one of the Draft Warren people, although I gave up by the summer of 2015. I remember seeing Bernie on The Ed Show (sadly, the last consistent voice for workers on major American TV to this day), and Bernie kept saying, "If no one will run to stand up against Wall Street greed, I will!" Looking back, I think that he was probably one of the people behind the scenes begging hard for her to run, but sometimes in life, fortune favors the brave. Now, her proposals seem disappointing in comparison.
