  1. Someone always loses a nomination in every Administration. I think Biden picked her to stick it to the Clintons, whom he has long hated, and the establishment crowding him out in 2016 surely didn't help.

  3.  @matthewdunham1689  Well, if it was like the 1960s with supermajorities in each House instead of with a four-seat majority in the House and a tie Senate, unforitbately, math says that you may well have little choice sometimes. Not the same as negotiating with yourself, though.
