@Logan Wallace If you take all the "successful people," who is going to build the houses? Or set up the plumbing? Or build the roads? I would love to see people go Galt, because they'll find out that there will be new rich people to take their place, but they won't be able to last without us workers.

I'd hate to tell this guy, but you could live off one income until well into the 1970s, decades after Social Security became a thing.

"The creation of the Federal Reserve put bankers in charge instead of the Treasury." These libertarians are so ahistorical! The Fed became a thing because there was a bank panic in 1907 that nearly caused a depression. The reason why it didn't was because JP Morgan literally sat in his office listening to appeals from banks to see whuch would survive and which wouldn't. That was one step too far for most people.
