The instant he told people in 2016 that Trump would be better than Hillary, the mask was off.

@raskassputin7408 There's only so many times people can "joke" about it before it becomes obvious. Let's face it, Cenk has helped some great lefty voices get a platform, but people like Jimmy Dore and Dave Rubin figured out that all you had to do was flatter him, and he'd give you a show.

@Disaletteritis If Jimmy Dore is actually funny, can you give an example of something funny he's said?

@hiataki7 What are some examples of his great comedy?

@oggoblin295 He was never on the left. He just thought that's where he could get his money. Eventually, he realized it was from the right.

@jpdewer8727 Oh, okay. I hadn't heard that before. I'll check it out. Thanks!

@DixonYamowthe He clearly saw where his audience was going and chased subscribers. He also got paid by a front company for the Syrian government, and he got half a million dollars a year to go to Rumble. Hey, multimillion dollar houses don't pay for themselves.

@Killingdance The fact that this shift (and his refusal to admit it) coincided with buying a multimillion dollar house in Pasadena begs to differ.

@roshansreedhar4727 But let's just say that maybe Jimmy Dore just had a terrible strategy. That means that there are one of two possibilities: either Jimmy Dore has terrible judgment, and no one should pay attention to what he has to say, or he was a grifter all along... and no one should pay attention to what he has to say.

When did Sam host with Maron? I remember he hosted with Janeane Garofalo with The Majority Report, but Marc Maron was the cohost of Morning Sedition.

Jimmy Dore is too stupid for many things, but any would-be entertainer knows his/her audience, and he is clearly playing to them.

@roshansreedhar4727 Oh, no. I'm not going to ignore that revision. Yes, he loved to say that when people started calling him out for saying that, but there were problems with this version of the understanding at the time. First and foremost, he said this knowing that McConnell was keeping a Supreme Court seat open, and if Hillary got to fill just that one, the Court would be 5-4 to the left. Second, he would always point to a whataboutism to say that Trump would be better on policy. When Sam Seder pointed to the fact that Trump could easily get to appoint three Supreme Court Justices who would be there for decades, Jimmy Dore a) compared that to the moon falling into Lake Michigan and b) said that Hillary would drop a nuclear bomb in Syria. He insisted that Trump would be better on surveillance and less likely to start a war. This was never just about Trump sabotaging the Republican Party.

@woodysdrums8083 One of these things is not like the other. Hint: she's known by her initials.

@waltonsmith7210 Those aren't mutually exclusive.
