@acegikm The ideas matter far more than what people have between their legs. Would we be better off if Sarah Palin was President than Bernie?

It doesn't amount to much anywhere. You couldn't live off that little money in West Virginia unless you were living off the land.

@jocksharerock7318 True that he didn't have the House after 2010, but no one forced him to load the Committee with people like Erskine Bowles who were known advocates of privatization. There were limits to what Obama could do, but even as a candidate, he talked about "needing to do something to deal with the long-term deficits in Social Security."

@dannywindham3295 The person you're replying to is an idiot. The Amish usually don't even bother to vote, and if they did, they don't even have the numbers to take over Lancaster County, let alone the country.

@johnredding7728 It wouldn't be so badly needed if companies didn't want to weasel out of paying their pensions.

I don't think it was intentional. I think that it was mainly because he is a self-centered person who really didn't care how the party did as long as he ended up okay.

@keirfarnum6811 Definitely. I remember reading about all of the times that the automobile industry bought public streetcars when cities were strapped for cash, and they immediately ripped up the rails to cut the competition.

@twzrrprz When Hillary Clinton is running to your left economically in a Democratic primary, you know there's something seriously wrong.

Yes, because pacifists who rarely vote are going to take over a country.

@tskjesusfreak Okay, let's follow your logic. A group is going to become less than 2% of the American population, mostly concentrated in two states, and they don't even vote, and these are the people who will take things over? They couldn't even take over Lancaster County if they wanted to. At least make your conspiracy theories a little bit plausible.

@nathandrake5544 The UK, either.

@keirfarnum6811 Slight return or no return?

I'm a Caseworker, and it's a huge hassle dealing with the private insurance companies. It should be any doctor or facility that takes Medicaid, period, instead of dealing with networks.

@nrsrymj By definition, a UBI is cutting if there are people who get more now than what the UBI is going to be.
