@brunopbch Challenge: Accept the fact that a lot of us here have rejected libertarian thought because we have read it, and realize that it doesn't work.

@brunopbch I'll mention any country that has public police, firefighters, military, libraries, roads, hospitals, schools, garbage pick up, etc. A mixed economy is the only way forward.

@brunopbch Ah, yes, the non-aggression principle that doesn't see the force in feudalism ... the end result of letting the rich get everything, which is what your beloved Rothbard would do.

@brunopbch And if you go with the libertarian or ancap view that history starts today, and we can do nothing to counteract any past injustice (If I had a dollar for every time I heard someone say something to the effect of "I paid for my land" while oblivious to the fact that it was stolen from tribal people, I would be debt free), then that will be the end result. Of course, no one in that camp will admit it, but that is what will happen.

@brunopbch Agreed that we shouldn't cause further harm, but I am pretty confident in saying that there will be some disagreement over the definition of harm.

@brunopbch Well, therein lies the problem. The people who stole from Native Americans or enslaved people from Africa are no longer alive, but a lot of people still benefit, but not believing in the concept of communities as many libertarians don't really makes it hard to see the full effects of injustice.
