@dinorancher5560 So sorry that happened. When I was in fifth grade, my mom needed her gallbladder removed. My brother had also broken his arm a few weeks earlier, and we didn't have insurance at the time, so no one would perform the operation. Eight months later, after my dad got a loan for a down payment, she got the surgery and her gallbladder was gangrenous. It is an outrage that people get sicker because of greed.

@biokido575 Okay, here's some simple math. Bernie's plan is paid for by a 7% employer payroll tax, and a 4% employee payroll tax that exempts the first $29,000 of income. His Workplace Democracy plan includes a provision that requires employers to pass on the savings from Medicare for All to the workers in the form of higher wages or benefits. My employer contribution is currently 27.6% of my income, and my share is 4.41%. So, would I pay a little bit of taxes to get a 20% raise, and no longer have to pay insurance premiums, co-pays, or deductibles? You bet, I would!

Even with insurance, my mom was told nearly 20 years ago (at the age of 43), my mom was told she needed a heart transplant. She never got it because, even with it, the procedure would cost a quarter of a million dollars out of pocket. Only by the grace of God is she still with us. No one should ever be in that situation!

@LinkRocks This guy has been trolling videos for months. He never, ever has anything substantive to say. Based on the timing, it tells you all you need to know about Biden supporters.

MidScream1 You're an insensitive jerk who wants the poor to die to reduce the surplus population?

@biokido575 So, under 11 is greater than 32.01? Math is not your friend. A lot of what happened in Vermont was the costs were underrepresented, and being a small state, they didn't have the risk pool benefits that a national plan would. Bernie has been upfront about how it will be paid for.

@biokido575 Bernie said exactly what it would be. If you are fine with paying more, getting less, and 45,000 Americans dying every year from a lack of health insurance, you believe that all you want, but I have no desire to do so.

@biokido575 Keep telling yourself that. I guess sometimes people have to lie to themselves to justify their indifference to others.

@biokido575 Debunked by whom? And Medicare has a lower overhead than private insurance, and we spend more than anyone else only to get the 37th best in the world.
