The people who insist that there is no difference or people like Krystal Ball insisting that things haven't changed under Trump are people who are enjoying their privilege and don't care about the millions who have been hurt. If someone is going to brag about being too cool for school and voting third party, that person almost certainly just doesn't care about other people and deserves all of the scorn he/she gets. P.S. I know people in safe states who have said that they are not voting for Biden out of protest. They are not on public forums trying to dissuade people from voting for Biden. That's not who I am talking about.

@jessefillmore So, a competent response to the biggest pandemic "isn't offering anything"? A Supreme Court that respects civil rights and voting rights "isn't offering anything"? Getting rid of the unrealized capital gains loophole that allows hundreds of billions to pass tax free "isn't offering anything"? A $15/hour minimum wage "isn't offering anything"? Yeah, my point still stands.

@jessefillmore MLK endorsed Kennedy and Johnson, so not only do you either not know or misrepresent what is happening now, but you do the same thing to history.

You mean the guy who gets Republican help to thwart the ability of people to vote by mail in Wisconsin? The Green Party leaders are con artists, and if you don't understand why Republicans have funded and volunteered for the Green Party for 20 years (at least 10% of all donors to Nader 2000 and 2004 were Republicans), then you just haven't been paying attention.

@jocksharerock7318 I think these people are just spreading misinformation at this point. Either that, or they are having a tantrum. I get being upset about Bernie losing. Unlike a lot of these people, I did everything I could to help him when, but these people do nothing and then get mad that the world doesn't bend to their will. John Lydon said it best: they are demanding to be ignored.

@uncletom356 If Trump were to die from this, I want it to come after the election. I want him going out the door knowing that he was rejected in a manner no incumbent President has been rejected since 1932 or 1980.

@emblemedfate4270 And what did they win?
1
@emblemedfate4270 You are aware that it was the governor who made the decision to take over the city of Flint, right? Apparently, you didn't notice that there were plenty of us who were critical of the actions in Libya. I'm not the one who looks at a possible fascist dictatorship and a pandemic treated with indifference and saying "nothing has changed."
1
@emblemedfate4270 Because you know what happens if there are only two candidates who can win and refuse to vote for the lesser evil? You get the greater evil.
1
@emblemedfate4270 You mean the same Chris Hedges who plays along with the conspiracies of Jimmy Dore? Yeah, he's credible. You still didn't provide citation, and apparently you haven't noticed the effort to starve Yemen or leave the Kurds to slaughter.
1
@emblemedfate4270 No, you didn't. And your Underpants Gnomes theory has never, ever, ever worked. Refusing to vote is demanding to he ignored. How has that worked?

@l.w.paradis2108 I have heard her do exactly that. Admittedly it is far more difficult sifting through ten minutes videos to find the exact quote, but she has.
1
@l.w.paradis2108 She was saying that the overall condition hadn't changed in the last four years and he wasn't the bogeyman people said he was. For someone with her assets, things really haven't changed. For the children who got kidnapped, the hundreds of thousands of deaths due to his negligence because coronavirus just happened to hit "blue areas" first and he thought he could blame it on governors, and the millions who continue to suffer through his negligence, not to mention the threat to democracy itself, I'd say quite a bit has changed for the worse.
1
@l.w.paradis2108 Well, a lot of people who "follow her regularly" seem to miss some of her worse stuff, so I'm not surprised. Considering that she is now trying to convince her followers to ignore an attempted coup, it seems like she has no limit.

@marciamakesmusic And not voting for the lesser of two evils equals when they are the only two who can win equals greater equal. Funny how the people who use your statement seem to forget that part.

@greybright7783 Well, that makes you a tiny minority. I have asked a lot of Never Biden people, and almost all avoid the question. Exit polls don't measure things like mail-in voting, so they are not the end all be all proof. Unfortunately, the establishment are smarter about getting results, because a lot of the people who were drawing votes from Bernie stayed in well past when they should have gotten out (in any normal cycle, a candidate from Massachusetts getting single digits in New Hampshire would have been the end of the road), and majority support never coalesced.
1
@mickiec1841 Ralph Nader got over 180 times the margin in Florida. Exit polls showed that Nader voters preferred Gore by a margin of 16 (37-21) to 26 (44-18) points. If we were not on the ballot, Gore would have won Florida by over 15,000 votes. Yes, the Supreme Court stole 2000, but Nader made it close enough to steal.

Agreed. It is true that Biden is not great, but the only one that is remotely comparable in terms of consequences of the result was 1864. If McClellan had one, he was literally ready to let the traitorous states go. In that election, the only correct vote was for the Republican. In this one, the only correct vote is for the Democrat.
