  1. Judicial appointments already had the filibuster removed. Instead of getting rid of the legislative filibuster, we can stop them from gumming up the works with two simple changes: 1) Make them talk. If you feel so strongly about the bill, make your case to the American people. 2) Current rules require 3/5 of all Senators to end a filibuster, so in theory, one can he sustained with a 59-1 vote. Instead, make them do the work to keep it going and change it to 3/5 of all voting Senators. Make them hang out at or near the Senate so they have to make it to a cloture vote or else they fail.

  2.  @muskyoxes  At a certain point, it is also a question of endurance. Have you ever tried standing in place for hours on end? If they want to do it, they have to work for it.
