@absynthe9820 The biggest thing that helped them was that they weren't competing for the crazy. There are four nutjobs dividing the vote. That will almost certainly save her in the end.

@Capitalismrules Well, we need her in the sense that her state is so red that whoever wins the primary is sure to win the election, but that's it. People mourning Kinzinger being the one to get the short straw when Illinois lost a Congressional seat miss the fact that overall, he's still pretty bad, although there were plenty of Republicans in Illinois who are even worse who I'd prefer to target.
