She clearly told somebody not just that she had Native American ancestry (I guarantee you that there are more of us who fall into this category than you'd think) but that she herself was a Native American.

I have said for years, after seeing the way they treated Bernie for endorsing the eventual winner of the primary as he always said he would, I realized that they were really Never Hillary types who just backed Bernie because he was the top challenger.

I can get the whole thinking you fell under some category, but my maternal grandfather had two grandmothers who were full Native American (one Cherokee and the other Shawnee), and according to blood quantum rules, my mom qualifies, but I don't. Neither one of us has ever checked it on any box. Having that ancestry doesn't make you part of that group.

@Salmon If they live in one of the states that decide it, they may even be worse, because the Trump people actually think they are helping make America better, but those people are actively hoping to inflict harm through a Trump Presidency. I was at a Bernie event at Philadelphia City Hall last year, and some dead ender chained himself to the stage (and as slow as he was approaching the stage and getting things out of his bag, I don't know what took the police so long in stopping him) and claiming that Bernie was an awful sell out. Those people make the real left look bad.

@Salmon Some do, but I don't think that is everyone. However, I heard a lot of Never Hillary types actually talk about how bad they wanted things to get because they didn't get their way. My thinking is that I vote for the best in the primary, and if I have to settle in November, so be it, but the people who are really suffering from the Trump Administration aren't the Democratic establishment.
