He wasn't talking about Medicare for All in "any blue will do," he was talking about the Voting Rights Act, and I think he is probably right, because if for no other reason, self interest will kick in.

@daniell6954 He was talking about a very specific issue. On that issue, there is no reason why they won't. They have been dealing with voting issues in the House, so do you really think that it is just a fake because they secretly want Republicans to kill a bill that makes it easier for their voters to vote?

@daniell6954 Okay, of the two major parties, which one supports reinstating Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act, and which one opposes it? That is the question at hand.

@daniell6954 Oh, okay. I get it now. You're one of those people who hate those who will give you a little bit of what you want more than people who will send you screaming in the opposite direction. Well, the whole thing started when this hatred couldn't let you see what Sam was talking about, so you'll never see the basic point that something that has unanimous support within the party (and doesn't have several competing versions) can easily pass given a united government that hasn't existed since the Shelby case.
