When I read The Conquest of Bread, I kept asking myself, "But how is that going to actually work?" "If there is no governing agent, how are you going to arrange the field trips to the farms to make sure there is enough vote with someone volunteering to clean up after the cows and pigs?" "How will you decide who gets to live where?" "How do you keep wealth from concentrating?" Something that is as stable as plutonium is not the best option.

In Barry Goldwater's memoirs, he literally said that Kennedy stole Illinois and Texas due to crooked dealings, and those two states would have put Nixon over the top. It is brought up almost every time people talk about contested elections, even though it was merely a close election. At least I have evidence for mine.
