Jimmy Dore isn't advocating "direct action." He is advocating a kamikaze plan doomed to fail that cuts the legs out from under the people doing the actual work.

FDR won election complaining about the budget deficits in 1932, and his 1937 budget proved that was where his heart was, but he got pulled. It is our job to do the pulling.

@rowanlees9779 First of all, when someone complains that someone else isn't holding someone accountable, don't join in the feeding frenzy. Second, and more important is to understand that 1) building the grassroots movement necessary to complete a realignment takes a long time (the last one took 16 years and had big money on its side), and 2) always be building. Once there is a concrete need, call your elected officials, write letters, sign petitions, and encourage others do the same. And keep doing that to hold the people who win to the fire whether you voted for them or not. Don't be a jerk about it, but be firm and polite in calls and letters. Sooner or later, the people who answer those calls will know who you are. That is the only way that shoe leather can beat wallet leather.

And funny that you take a shot out of nowhere at the two people who can keep from giving McConnell two more years of control of the Senate calendar. Do you actually want get anything done or do you want to give Biden the excuse that he couldn't get anything through the Republican Congress?
