  1. I think that the real issue is employers wanting control. I have a government job, so we have to be open at certain times. However, if your job involves a lot of processing, even dropping to a 30-hour work week (giving people the option of 4×7.5 hour days or 5×6 hour days) give people a lot more flexibility based on their needs, and increase the wages enough to give people the same amount of money and more leisure time on top of it.
