Is the scumbag caller who Sam annihilated over the border policy? If so, he really, really hates other people's kids.

@indymarrow8050 Well, not everyone can, and farmer's markets might still be more expensive than the processed food. When you don't have enough money to eat, you focus far more about not being hungry than how nutritious the food is.

@indymarrow8050 You can't eat fast food with food stamps. If you are going to demean people who use them, at least get it right what they can use them for.

I get the feeling, but I don't think he really needed to, because his point that education costs far more than a free school lunch, and $10,000 is worth less to a rich person than a dollar is to him was quite apt.

What was petty on Sam's side? He was arguing that everyone benefits from things others pay taxes for (as George Costanza reminded us, "We are living in a society!"), but he didn't want to pay for others.

@indymarrow8050 Well, considering that we don't see your profile picture, there's no way of knowing how svelte you are, but again, the main goal when you are hungry all the time is not to be hungry anymore. As "Once A Runner" put it, "Fuel for the fire. It doesn't matter what burns."

@dal8963 The point is that he understands deep down where Sam is taking the argument, which is why he is lying about how much his truck (which is subsidized by those who live in urban areas or don't drive) cost.
