If you don't like the corporate wing being in power, here's a thought. People need to run for the following: school board, city council, state legislature, and local and state party committees. Nothing is magically putting the establishment there. Too many people sit and whine and don't actually do the work. I know that almost every time I have seen a Never Biden person online and asked what he/she did, I am greeted with misdirection or just voting or writing a check. And you have to understand that these things take time. The last political realignment was a 16 year project from the defeat of Goldwater to the election of Reagan. The fact that people are already giving up after five years when they didn't do the work is very concerning if we are actually going to get things done.

@Odinsday Obama was never on the left. Even in the primary, he was talking about being like Reagan instead of Roosevelt, talking about "doing something about the Social Security deficit," a climate plan that still had a place for coal, advocating for charter schools, and denigrating the USPS. If it weren't for a speech in 2002 as a state senator to give him anti-Iraq War street cred, he wouldn't have mobilized the left at all.
