It's much easier for him to invite a kook on the show and let them spew right-wing nonsense on his behalf. If he were to have another liberal or progressive on his show (or even one of the charlatans he claims is a progressive) he would have to use some brain power to think through how to mess with them or how to throw them under the bus after the fact.

David Guffey He's not searching for common ground.  That would require him to interrupt his guests and strong arm the direction of the conversation which he doesn't do for the sake of common ground.  He especially doesn't have to search when it's right in front of him.  He doesn't push his guests on their views unless it's Jaclynn, Areva, or Cara (which is to say those who clearly lean to the left).  He played hard ball with them, but he doesn't get pointed with his conservative guests.  Then again, they'd probably ball their heads off if he did.

David Guffey John is the employee who fills in for Cenk when he's out of the office.  Think Tank is TYT University's new name.  They focus on clickbait topics.  Most of their videos are uninteresting.  When they have a good video, it's often times a topic that the main channel has already covered and done better at.
