I find it ironic how you criticize me for not understanding modern economics but you go 30+ years in the past. "Did you know that some of those billionaires pay less taxes than their secretaries.  " Do you know why? Because they pay themselves less and put a lot of their money in stocks. The tax code is complicated, making it more complex will only make the situation worse. But raising taxes on the rich will cause them to move their money to avoid taxes.

Income inequality exists due to our tax code where the top 10% pay 70% of taxes while earning 40% of all income. It also exist due to lazy people refusing to work and just asking for handouts. When you attack those who work hard enough they will find a way to pull ahead.

  8. +brandon Maes Citizens united is constitutional. You have a right to your property and speech. Corporations are ran by individuals. I also find it ironic how you are referring to the founding fathers who made individual federal income taxes unconstitutional. The only federal tax domestically was a tax on the states. Corporate taxes did not exist and neither did individual federal income taxes. So to respond to this "because what your saying is that it's okay for corporations to avoid paying any federal income tax but when a normal civilian doesn't pay them, we go to prison for 10+ years" I am saying both taxes should be at 0.
