So much for money out of politics.

+chickendinner2012 Oh, corporate money bad, but rallying up people to gang up on those you don't like is good. Four legs good, two legs better.

+Malcolm Swoboda I know Bernie Sanders supporters are simpletons. If they weren't they would see the hypocrisy in him.

+chickendinner2012 Corruption is just a symptom of a disease. The disease if too much power in the federal government. Just like corporations buy out politicians to do things in their favor at the expense of others, others are buying Bernie to do the same thing. No difference. If you want remove corruption remove the power of the federal government.

+chickendinner2012 Corporations can't do anything to you but offer you a job or a product. Only government can force you into doing something. Corporations want a strong government on their side just like Bernie Sanders supporters want a strong government on their side. Both cases are using government for oppression. You want control of the government then you need a more local government. Go back to state rights and strip the power from the federal government and you will get that. Consider this, after Bernie gives all this power to the federal government and corporations put their man to replace Bernie after his time is up, is that something you want?

+chickendinner2012 Well one, all a corporation can do is offer you a job or a product. You don't have to take it. The only entity that can force you to do something is government. Now that is to not say that government is bad, there is a need for government. You have to keep government as small and local as possible to see that it remains the servants instead of the masters. The problem we have now is that the federal government has become so powerful that it now controls us. You want government to do X, Y and Z, and it may. The federal government may offer you want you want. But on the flip side it may do A, B and C that you don't like. But if you challenge it then it will take away X, Y and Z. That is not the government you want. You should not fear corporations though. Your fear is in the wrong place.

+chickendinner2012 Monopolies come because of government. Government creates rules and regulations that hurt certain companies. Walmart supported a higher min. wage at one point knowing it will hurt smaller competitors that lacked resources that could not afford to pay higher wages or cut staff like Walmart can. Corporations use government to create monopolies. As I said, corporations can only offer you a job and a product, that is it. Government can only force you to do something. I don't want to weaken government, I want to limit government. I want to go back to state rights to spread out the power and give the people the ability to control it. You on the other hand want to give more power to the federal government opening the doorway for it to become bought out and corrupt. You want government to do X, Y and Z. You will support government because they provide roads. Mean while they are also creating law that benefit corporations. Sure you have your road, but corruption will exist. We can have government, and in several ways we need it. But we also need to control it. You only control it by keeping it as local as possible.

+Liberty for All You can limit the federal government and go back to state rights. With that you develop the ability to control government easier. Too much government is just as bad as no government. The founding fathers saw this which is why they wanted limited government and state rights.

+Liberty for All I personally don't switch back and forth between state rights. But what I find is funny is that those who push for more federal government do so in their favor. But then they complain when others do the same. That is being a hypocrite in my opinion. I am not making a black and white argument here. Anything issue in this country I can point directly to the constitution to solve which placed limitations on governments. We have the blue print, we just have to follow it.
1
+Liberty for All I believe in following the constitution, that is why I am against Bernie.

+chickendinner2012 Bernie wants socialized healthcare and "free" college paid for by the federal government which violates the 10th amendment. He wants to expand the payroll tax which also violates the constitution. He wants to pay for vacation time and maternity leave which violates the 10th amendment. He supports raising the min. wage which the min. wage violates the 10th amendment. He wants to abolish citizens united which violates property rights such as the 5th amendment. Bernie violates the constitution a lot, and more so than any other candidate which is why I am not voting for him.
