  1. So poor people do drugs and alcohol and die early. Where is the villain here? This seems like it is self inflicted. If they are poor how can they afford drugs and alcohol?

  2. +rea sanka There are healthy ways to deal with stress. If getting drunk and drugged up is your way of dealing with stress then you are poor for a reason.

  3. +rea sanka While I am not in poverty I do not have a high income. I was raised in a poor household for the first 8 years of my life. Stress exist in a lot of ways, even the rich have stress in managing a business. I deal with a lot of stress as a grad student. I manage by having healthy activities instead of drugs and alcohol. That is the difference between someone who is successful and who isn't. That is how my family got out of being poor. That is how I am on my way to earning a PhD where others remain in poverty.

  4. +Josephine Thornton Luck had nothing to do with it. It is simple. Work hard and you will be fine. Some people love to make excuses and they are the ones who remain poor. Others find a way.
