  2. Hamas has been asking for a ceasefire to release the hostages. Hamas has also been in negotiations to get medicines for the hostages. They are doing their best to keep them alive. Meanwhile the Gazans are starving! I expect that Hamas and the hostages are also going without food. Hostages who were released have said that when food was scarce Hamas shared everything with them and they ate exactly the same. It is Israel that doesn't care.
