@srikant91 In my city of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh the municipality refuses to do anything and cites a Supreme Court order which says that streets are natural habitat of dogs and it is not obligatory on any municipality to do anything to protect humans from dogs.

3 crore plus stray dogs are roaming the streets of India attacking, maiming and killing human beings and livestock such as goats and chickens. Add to it a few crore pet dogs. Human life is very cheap in India.

@aarsheyajasrotia3290 Firstly, dogs were created by ancient humans from wolves so your statement that dogs have been here before humans is wrong. Secondly, your belief that dogs have equal rights to humans is flawed. If we accept your belief then why dogs don't have voting rights or dogs work in offices or dogs don't contest elections? Why is a human being the Prime Minister of India and not any dog? Thirdly, the idea that human beings are the real culprits and dogs are innocent is based on sentiments rather than logic and observation. Natural law is that all species try to propagate and dominate. Dogs are no exception. Most of the times dogs attack human beings to show their superiority in a particular area. Unlike humans dogs do not feel any guilt in attacking children, old people or sick or weak people because in the dog world the weak do not deserve to live. Yes dogs do sometimes attack people because some other people did something bad to them but even that is wrong as per human ethics because for fault of someone else somebody different gets killed.

@rishijagtap2968 I have seen stray dogs hunting goats grazing in fields many times. I have saved some goats from dogs myself. They usually grab the goats rear legs and then one dog bites the goat's neck till the goat bleeds to death and then they all drag it to a hiding place and eat it.

@rishijagtap2968 In January five stray dogs jumped on me from nowhere when I was riding my motorcycle on a busy road in Lucknow. They were constantly trying to bite my legs, thighs and hands and trying to pull me down from the motorcycle just like you see wolves doing to deer in National Geographic videos.

@aarsheyajasrotia3290 I have seen street dogs attacking and killing goats of poor farmers and by God's grace have been able to save some of the goats before the dogs could kill them. I never saw any regret or remorse in any of those dogs about killing goats for their own profit which in that case was food. So if you really want to live according to Nature's laws then learn to understand and accept nature completely. Nature is benevolent and cruel at the same time.
