US law allows everyone to buy and keep guns to defend themselves. Why can't these Indians buy, keep and carry guns for their self-defence? In fact, India should also have liberal gun laws like the US so that common people are not sitting ducks at the hands of criminals.

@harisundar8698 Crime rate in US is higher than India because the US police does not refuse to write FIR like Indian police does. In India many crimes are not reported because the police simply refuses to file FIR.

Nobody in power in India can officially support beef ban, meat ban, beef lynchings etc in international stage. If someone does that they will invite sanctions from the West like Russia. That is why it is necessary for RSS and PM Modi to show that they don't have anything to do with this. This is the reality.

@sankalp6872 Most children and relatives of influential Indians including BJP politicians study, work or live in the US. US is the number country of choice of powerful Indians to send their children for a better life than India. So the US in many ways is more important for Indian economy than Indian economy is important for the US.

@YT-lx9ry Israel had pork ban till 30 years ago but liberal Jewish people got the Israeli government to end the ban because they said they wanted to eat pork and ban on pork was against their fundamental right of food. India should be liberal Hindu country like Israel is a liberal Jewish country. We don't need to be like intolerant Muslim country. Have some high standards.

It seems that the Democrat Party establishment in the US is putting pressure on the RSS and BJP through influential Indian Americans who support the RSS/BJP as well as the Democrat Party in the US to tone down the rising religious frenzy especially on the Hindu side.

@sankalp6872 It was not stupid. He was just being himself. It helped him to become PM in 2014. He is a streetfighter politician who will use any opportunity to put his opponent on their back on the mat. That is his chief skill. Just don't expect him to be a great visionary like Lee Kuan Yew.

@sankalp6872 You are lucky because you are at least able to pay your fees. There are many people I know whose hopes of going out of India for better job have been dashed because of weak rupee. Many of such people have been jobless since lockdown. They are unable to get decent job even now and are somehow surviving doing odd jobs.

@sankalp6872 Even legal immigration agents in India link their fees to US Dollars. So going anywhere abroad for job from India has become more expensive.

@sankalp6872 I agree with you that the West is no paradise and the American Dream is over. But for many Indian people, the West and the Middle East still hold aspirational value due in part to the fact that Indian economy itself is not in very great shape when it comes to unemployment and underemployment.

Goal of US in Russia is to remove Putin and intall someone pro-US like Zelensky of Ukraine. Once that happens everything will be fine. Modi is not Deng Xiaoping. India should become Hindu Rashtra in the Hindu way. Right now many Hindus seem to be behaving like Jihadi Muslims in their quest to make India a Hindu Rashtra. Such a Hindu Rashtra if made, cannot be a true Hindu Rashtra. The statement of the RSS Sarsanghachalak is a gentle admonishment to such Hindus.
