Elected representatives get political pension because nature of their work is highly insecure and uncertain. Pension schemes provide financial security in old age and are vital component of social security in any country which claims to be civilized.

  56. The old colonial system created an army that proved itself in wars all over the world including the first and second world wars. The new system is yet to be tested. If these new soldiers are sent to fight in Kashmir, Afghanistan and other war zones and perform well then only this scheme's feasibility will be proved.
