Sir your suggestion is most sensible but problem for the Muslims is that if they start voluntarily giving away all the pagan temples destroyed by them they will not be left with anything because even Mecca was the biggest pagan centre in the Middle East and the Kaba was a pagan temple, some even say Kaba was temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Mecca mosque was built by destroying biggest pagan temple in Middle East, Jerusalem Mosque was built by destroying holiest and biggest Jewish temple, Great Mosque of Istanbul built by destroying Hagia Sophia Church of Constantinople... The list of mosques built by destroying non-Muslim holy places is so long that if Muslims start to voluntarily give up all the mosques built by destroying non-Muslim places of worship it is doubtful they would have anything left to call their own.
