India should have military presence in Afghanistan. Humanitarian and civilian presence in Afghanistan encourages islamists and jihadis only.

@IndiaTides By your logic, the Arabs and the Turks who invaded Gandhara, converted the entire population of that land to islam, renamed the country to Afghanistan, and ruled over it for more than a thousand years, should never have been able to do so. Even now, Turkey wants to have it's military stationed in Afghanistan but is constrained from doing so by it's NATO membership. Don't rationalize cowardice please.

@IndiaTides Indian civilian presence in Afghanistan not supported by any military presence is seen as cowardice, stupidity and weakness by most of the Afghans not only the Taliban.

@IndiaTides India is not USA that we become crybabies at the loss of military personnel in conflict. Do you see anyone shedding tears at the loss of thousands of soldiers in Kashmir and North-East? We know very well that job of soldiers is to kill enemies and be ready to sacrifice their lives in the process if required.

@tarekurrahman7693 Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are not jihadi muslims like the muslims of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. They are liberal nations who are more proud of their ancient heritage rather than islam.
