Psychology and Psychiatry have been groping in the dark about human consciousness for the past eighty or so years and more often than not have presented socially and individually harmful treatment methods at the cost of the patients and the society. Anyone criticizing psychology and psychiatry is branded anti-science much like anyone criticizing religion is labeled anti-religion.
