@akshatgupta193 The new cancel culture and movements like BLM in West are leading to a situation where you will have increased appeasement politics there also. Indians will lose out because we are not as important as Blacks when it comes to politics. Then you also have anti-caste academicians in West who want to see caste motivation behind every Indian action and want it to be legally dealt with like you have the Cisco caste discrimination case pending in California. So you need to watch out. It is not going to be easy anymore in those nations also.

Most Indian entrepreneurs and venture capitalists belong to a particular caste and nobody says that this is unfair. Why? Why not have representation of all castes in business like in government and education?

@neeljavia2965 Till 1947 undivided India was the largest market for luxury goods in the whole world including Rolls Royce, Cartier and any other luxury brand you can imagine. If you have any doubt then do some research.

@neeljavia2965 Yes we have changed with the times in 1947 itself and are busy protecting traditional occupation of the Indian business caste while providing reservation in the traditional occupations of the non-trader castes.

@neeljavia2965 99.9% of Indian businesses are still under the traditional business castes. They control the entire private sector and live lavishly with armies of servants like the Kings of yore, their children studying in Ivy League universities on the power of their money.

Pehle log kavita likhte aur sunte thhey, classical ya folk music ka anand lete thhey, unke paas quality of life thi bhale hi paisa na ho. Aaj jitna paisa kama lo poora hi nahi padta. Yeh tumko achchha lagta hoga humko nahi.

@well_said7846 IIT me B Tech ki fees 2 Lakh rupaye hai. SC ke liye free hai. General poori deta hai. SC ko books par bhi koi kharcha nahi karna padta. Saari books government deti hai. General books khareedne me bhi paisa kharcha karta hai. Ye thought experiment karo kabhi.

@well_said7846 Meri information bilkul correct hai. SC ko koi tuition fees nahi deni hoti hai aur government ne SC ke liye separate library bhi banayi hai. SC ko Central Library se bhi books milti hai aur SC library se bhi.

@well_said7846 In IIT Kharagpur, SC get double number of books from Central Library for double amount of time which means full semester. Apart from that there is a separate SC/ST Library section in Central Library which issues them more books for whole semester. In total they get all course books for full semester.

@well_said7846 You can't make some castes richer by making other castes poorer. Many countries tried that in the last century and ended up with social unrest and civil wars.

@shreeramshinde8492 Sewage cleaning job can be very good if working conditions are good like today. I cannot apply for government sewage cleaning jobs because they are 100% reserved for SC in my state and they all earn more than any engineer does in a private job.

@shreeramshinde8492 There was fluidity in caste. You could change your profession and therefore your caste. It was easier in some kingdoms and more difficult in others. That was the difference. The Maratha Empire was notorious for rigid caste system but other kingdoms did not have such oppressive and rigid caste system like the Marathas. That is why Ambedkar was from Maharashtra not UP or Bihar.
