But Ukraine was becoming a successful democracy and the more ruzzia tried to force Ukraine to be under ruzzian control the more Ukraine moved away from ruzzia! That doesn’t fit putins plans for "russiky mir" so putin tried to take Ukraine by force. Prior to ruzzian aggression in more than a decade Ukraine did not want or intend to Join NATO, Ukraine was only joining the EU free trade agreement but putin saw this as Ukraine becoming too "western". After2014 Invasions Ukraine still preferred friendly relations with ruzzia and Majority were against NATO membership! Only after 2022 Invasion did the opinion change and now a large majority in Ukraine vote for NATO membership. THINK about what caused Ukraine to change from ruzzian friendly to wanting NATO membership! 2 decades of ruzzian aggression, an invasion in Donbas, an invasion in Crimea and now a full scale war!!
