from 2008 when putin started his plan to take Ukraine as the start of his new russian empire there was no chance of a peaceful settlement unless Ukraine installed a russian govt and became part of the russian federation the same federation that countries are trying to leave!

@raresboghean2974 russia have lost more than 15000 armoured vehicles and tanks according to a lot of sources and that is more than double what Ukraniane even had. not counting the hundreds captured from russia when the crews abandoned their tank and fled!
