  1. It’s strange they think that now that Sinwar’s gone that all of this can end. Don’t they understand that they are dealing with a resistance that opposes their ghettoization of people, their military rule and domination, and their lunatic, land thieving settlers. They think this is about one man, or an educational system, or a religion, rather than it being a fury and opposition to what they have been doing. They are so unaware and dismissive about why they are despised there.

  2.  @Feefa99 They just don’t care. Their whole culture is paranoid about the Palestinians and everyone else in the region despising them, but then never correlate that back to their own history and ongoing brutality and land theft.

  3. The opportunity to get back hostages was there from the very beginning, and indeed, some were returned through exchanges. Their government doesn’t care about the hostages, and these people don’t at all care about what they’ve done to Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, or anywhere else. Only know that these other groups are firing rockets at them do they say it’s time to end the war.
