I expected something like this to happen when I first heard about the concept of Snapchat, it's not something to be relied on, if someone has an image on his/her device then there is a possibility he/she can access it and in fact I am happy about it and against such DRM-related schemes because a person should be pretty much in control of his/her device.

  2. Donn E >  think it is mobile only (not 100% sure) > snapchat is a mobile app. There are Android emulators out there and debugging tools where you can have a remote view of the screen. Could be that snapchat is trying to detect those though.
