@myrkvargkjetter that's not the US voting system as I understand it but the internal voting of the party for their candidate for the upcoming election which they can to some extend do the way they like it

@argonaaut Primary against a reigning president of the same party? I guess it would be an embarrassment for the democratic party then, no wonder it never happened in the past (or did it?)

@GenTsoChicken1 Huh? Does the US have a parliamentary system now? (I meant where the highest power is partitioned between parties based on direct votes)

@baalisgod666 If you are in the party then you also have the chance to vote for a chairman who in most cases would then become the candidate for an upcoming election?
