@DARKmodp Well, what is the right context and how could certain things be understood? I would argue that what matters is what people take from it and if good people understand it in a sense that helps cohabitation then that's good. If someone wants to talk about _the one Islam_ who should he quote? Scholars in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Indonesia, …?

@Mooxiepoo if you say that they should read the Quran then they will show you verses that don't sound very nice, if you tell them that to see for themselves how the majority of Muslims (esp. those living in the West) are very nice people then they will tell you that these people are not following the Quran precisely.
