@cringe2509 look at the length a country has to go through to threaten Russia when they can simply remain neutral- especially when it has worked for 85 years. Is expanding NATO really that important? What happened to trade and freedom of association?

A bunch of intelligence stations cannot destroy Moscow in under 15 minutes. NATO stopped being a "defensive alliance" after the cold war. It's main purpose is to project American nuclear power to Moscow as punishment for the cold war.

Just threw away 85 years of neutrality, just like that. The cold war has returned but now Finland has been forced into a side, and the other side has a nuke for every NATO city several times over (6000+).

@Jahvec what else is common between Ukraine and Finland militarily? The reps of Donbass in the Ukrainian parliament never wanted Ukraine to upset the balance of power and peace in Europe so they tried to oppose it, but Ukraine is not a democracy. Not since 2014. So they killed them and exiled them. Ukraine is not the same as Finland- the same ultranationalist goons that run Ukraine are a fringe movement in Finland.
