@Draculas-knight there are foreign troops in Ukraine. Boden just sent 3000 more. If they get hit in the crossfire or initiate military actions of their own, this conflict will get nuclear very quickly.

@chriss1011 if they didn't give those nukes away, they would've ended up in the hands of terrorist organisations all over the world because they couldn't maintain them or operate them. Ukraine has always been incompetent with nuclear, just check Chernobyl.

Since you barged in here, perhaps you can help your fellow "NATO boy" explain the aspects of Ukrainian-Russian history he considers to be justification for joining a military alliance designed to destroy Russia in peacetime (Ukraine applied to begin a NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP) in 2008) This was long before the annexation of Crimea, so go digging into your tinfoil hat and give us the details.

@CaptWillard2 NATO was created for "defense" against what and who? Russia or the USSR? I hope you know the difference. So who's the adversary NATO was created to defend against?

@CaptWillard2 you're deliberately skewing the answer to my question because I'm talking about prior to 1999 when the first wave of NATO expansion began, and not 2022. "What was the adversary that NATO was created to counter, USSR or Russia?" Try again.
